corporate support

As one of the most visible contemporary art spaces in the metropolitan area, the AAC attracts a broad and diverse audience. Many of our visitors are highly educated, technologically savvy individuals. Ranging from local families with young children to single city-dwellers to those who are post-career, our audience is attracted to the cutting edge exhibitions, accessible art education programs, and the opportunity to get to know working artists.

Arlington Arts Center exhibitions regularly receive attention not only in local press but also on the national level, in publications such as Art in America and Art Papers. Hundreds of people attend our opening receptions, and thousands of visitors wander through our galleries over the course of the year. Our programs are equally popular. Lectures and panel discussions featuring leading scholars and artists are often standing room only; and our multi-media events bring together diverse crowds interested in music, dance, and fashion as well as the visual arts.

Our art classes provide both adults and children with an opportunity to explore a variety of art media in small class settings. Our children’s classes (ages 3-high school) are very popular, with hundreds of enrollments annually. We are proud to offer bilingual classes, as well as classes geared to home-schoolers. We offer free workshops throughout the year, and tuition assistance to low income families.

Believing in the importance of community, the AAC also supports visiting artist residencies, so that our own resident artists and our students can share inspiration from artists within the United States and abroad. Your corporate support connects your company to a broad and diverse audience in Arlington County and beyond.

WHAT YOUR SPONSORSHIP MEANS

$10,000 underwrites an entire exhibition. Support allows us to work with nationally renowned curators and promising emerging artists, to invest in up-to-date exhibition technology, and to produce full color catalogs. Sponsors receive acknowledgement on signage throughout the exhibition, on catalog covers and our website, and in press releases. Exhibition partners also receive invitations to the private VIP preview, which you may attend with your associates and special clients.

$5,000 covers the costs of printing a full-color exhibition catalog. Each one includes scholarly essays, staff commentary, and copious images that examine our exhibitions in greater depth. Sponsors are recognized in the catalog, on our website, and in invitations and press releases for the event. Partners are also invited to the private VIP preview, which you may attend with your associates and special clients.

$3,000 allows us to invite a visiting artist to work in one of our resident artist studios for one month. Sponsorship includes acknowledgement in all related press and on our website, exclusive studio visits with visiting artists, special mention at public receptions for the artist, and signage in the Wyatt Gallery during the exhibition of the artist’s work.

$2,500 allows us to organize lectures and events featuring leading artists and scholars. Sponsors receive mention in all materials related to the event (including exhibition catalogs where applicable), special mention from the podium, and an exclusive reception with speakers before or after the event. Partners may also have an information table or volunteer team at the event.
